What Locals Ask Us Most

What does a plumbing job usually cost?

You approve a single fixed figure, set down in writing, before a spanner is lifted. If the number does not work for you, there is nothing to pay.

Is there a fee just to come out and look?

No. The assessment and quote cost $0, so the only money involved is for work you have approved first.

Can I get a plumber outside normal business hours?

Yes, day and night, weekends and public holidays included. There are no overtime rates, so an 11pm call is priced exactly like a mid-morning one. For faults that cannot wait, emergency plumbing is the right starting point.

Are the plumbers licensed and insured?

Every plumber works under NSW licence #275278C with full insurance behind every job, and compliance paperwork is issued with the invoice.

Is the work guaranteed?

Our Lifetime Labour Warranty covers workmanship for life. If something we have done is not right, we return and fix it at no charge.

How do I pay?

Card, cash and payment plans all work. Payment is taken once the job is finished and you are happy with it.

Services and Local Conditions

What kind of work do you actually cover?

Everything from a dripping mixer tap to full drainage and hot water replacement. The home page maps the four service areas and every job within them, including general plumbing, drainage and hot water work.

Why do drains block so often near the beach?

Sandy foreshore soils let wind-blown and washed sand work into gullies and stormwater lines, while mature street trees, including the heritage brushboxes along Soldiers Avenue, push roots into older clay drains. Recurring blockages deserve a camera look, which is where CCTV drain inspections earn their keep.

Do steep blocks have their own drainage problems?

Headland homes and properties sloping toward the beach concentrate runoff, which overloads drains during heavy rain and carves channels through gardens if water is not slowed and captured. See stormwater for how we handle it.

Does the salt air really damage plumbing fittings?

Constant salt-laden breezes corrode external taps and exposed fittings faster than inland homes ever see, which is why coastal fixtures need attention earlier than the same parts would inland. A fitting already weeping? Tap repairs sort it before the damage spreads.

Are older gas connections in the pre-war brick homes safe?

Many long-established homes still run original gas connections never designed for modern appliances. Renovation is the natural moment to test, update and certify the lot, and any suspected leak is an immediate call, starting with our gas leaks page.

Should I repair my hot water system or replace it?

A single failed component on a younger unit usually earns a repair, while a tank past ten to fifteen years with a major fault rarely justifies another one. We tell you honestly which applies, then route the job to hot water repair or replacement. No hot water at all right now? Start with no hot water.

Can renovating uncover plumbing surprises?

Regularly. Renovation activity across the suburb keeps uncovering dated pipework, older gas connections and mixed materials behind walls, and the open-wall stage is the smart moment to bring them up to date.

Still Have a Question?

The fastest answer comes from a person. Ring (02) 9072 0528 and a licensed plumber will tell you what your fault likely means, what to switch off, and what happens next.
